Hope was dressed as Viral and I got to experience the painstaking process of getting dressed into a seemingly simple costume. Oh boy, what a pain. But the final result made it all worth it, and she was kind enough to show us the ropes of the con before drifting off to her Gurren Laggen cosplay gathering.
Also got to pick up 3 more SWEET chopstick hair pieces from the very talented sister-team of Hill Tribe Fusion, and met up with (gasp!) the artistic twinterns in artist alley! Check out their toontwins DA site and give 'em love!
Kurot was also an absolute pleasure to talk to, and I commend her for all her endeavors--especially for busting down the walls of Comiket. Still hope to see an artbook sometime in the future.
All in all, a good time, and I hope that next time I can at least participate via cosplay...
